Shifter Problems

I just replaced the solenoid pack on my 2006 TJ 4.0 auto 42RLE tranny and I cant figure out how to reinstall the park pawl shaft rod on the bracket I have looked everywhere for this information with no success The diagrams I find show the parts but thats it no way of telling how it goes together. Has anyone here at Wrangler Forum run into this problem and maybe have some answers?

Try this link to the FSM. To get the latest version there pick TJ Unlimited. That will show the 42LRE. I'm not sure what you need exactly but there are a lot of diagrams & a couple show the pawl. Hope it helps.

See online read only FSMs here:
Jeep Knowledge Base
You may have to go to the bottom of the page & pick Jeep Resources & online manuals if it directs you to home page rather than the knowledge base.

What symptoms caused you to change the solenoid pack?
