Shifter question

Hey guys! Long time no post! I''m working at a nissan dealership and we took in a TJ the other day on trade in. Anyway it's a 06 X, V6, 6-spd manual with a 4 inch lift all suspension no body lift. When you shift it into reverse the shifter arm hits the center console bezel and keeps it from dropping into reverse all the way so it pops out of gear or just grinds. If you pull it back hard aganst the bezel it will go all the way into reverse. This to me should only happen with a body lift because the body would set higher making the shifter arm not stick up into the cab as far which would cause the contact it's having. I guess my question is is there a tranny spacer with the lift that would lower the transmission causing the shifter to set lower making it not have the proper angle of bend in the cab to go into reverse and not strike the console bezel? WOW i hope I made that as clear as mud! LOL

Most 4" lifts will come w/ a transfer case drop. That typically drops it about 1/2"-1" and it would likely cause this problem.

Unless you do a SYE kit, you will more than likely end up with driveline vibrations with a 4" lift.

If you have to ask what it is or what it does, you don't need it, and you will need help to install it!

just went through this with mine. I ended up trimming the console to get it to shift. It was a PITA.
