Skyjacker Lift

Has anyone purchased and installed the $529 4inch skyjacker lift? And if so, any reviews? whats the difference from other 4inch lifts other than UCA and DISCOS?

I wouldn´t install a skyjacker lift. IMO there are better brands like RE.

Ive got a skyjacker 4". No complaints thus far. The hydro shocks are nice. Im not a hardcore 4 wheeler quite yet though. Just the occasional wheeler. I camp and hunt alot. So it will work for me.

I've got a Skyjacker 4'' as well. Just a few minor bumps in the road when installing the lift. Other then those, no complaints at all.

I was actually looking for what physically differed from the other skyjacker 4in lift. and after i posted this, the magazine stated that the only difference is that it includes shocks and doesnt have quick discos. IMO if want 4 inches, for cheap but with same benefits, here ya go.. purchasing mine for chrimmas.

Skyjacker has really 'upped' their game in the last 3 years.

Their control arms are good, their springs are nice and their hydro shocks ride very nice. Their odd lift they have out that has a front adn rear girdle to raise axle side mounting locations and such was a night mare to keep torque’d. So a lot of people heard a lot of bad things around that time. I don’t think they offer it any more though?

I would run skyjacker before ProComp, rough country, super lift etc. RE is Questionably better and I like Rock Krawler, but Currie is the best I believe, when taking Everything in to consideration.

Try to stay under 4” or you will need a 1”-1.25” body lift and motor mount lift, or a SYE kit to fix your drive line angles and such.

thanks for leading into my next question.. when installing this 4in kit, it comes with a transfer case lowering bracket. does that mean that i would not need a sye and new drive shaft?
