Question Skyjacker review?

I'm getting ready to install a 4'' Skyjacker lift on my LJ and was curious if anyone could tell me how it rides? I know the guy and the 4Wheel Jamboree said it's the best out there, but I would expect that coming from someone wanting to sell a lift kit. Thanks.

The main issue with the Skyjacker lifts has always been the shocks they give you. (at least with their older kits) After one blew out on me I just put some Rancho's all around and haven't looked back.

But otherwise the kit has given me no problems besides the fact the the red gets very ugly after it fades. It rides nice on the road, and I get pretty decent flex. Mine is fairly old (6-7 years?) and its now about a 3.25" lift.

ive had a skyjacker lift for about a year and a half and havent had any issues. i would recommend the hydro shocks, they provide a smooth ride at a reasonable price. ive never used the nitro shocks, but ive heard they are kinda harsh. as far as the kit goes, ive been very pleased with it

I was wondering the same thing about skyjacker because if you look in a quadratec catalog they have the stages built up and they seem to use the skyjacker lifts for thier stages. I am sure that skyjacker pays for that or something goofy but just noticed that is what they use.

Thanks. The kit I bought came with the hydro shocks. So no worries there I suppose. I got a great deal on the whole kit. I was thinking about going with SuperLift, but after the Skyjacker guy told me his price, I went with them instead. Gotta love a good deal....

I got it installed Sunday. Looks and rides good. I'm running around on stock tires until my new ones come in. Not a bad ride though. The only thing we had a problem with was the sway bar links. They wouldn't come out. It's funny how they break when you don't want them to, but they won't come out when you do want them to.

I'll get pics up soon.
