sloppy steering

Does anyone know why my steering might be feeling very sloppy just replaced one of the tie rods on the passenger and steering dampner but it hasn't helped...I don't like the loose sloppy feeling it doesn't vibrate or shake just very sloppy my wheel is also cocked in the position of a left turn while the wheels are straight been this way since I bought it!

Well....start up river and work your way down.

While someone turns the steering wheel back and forth, watch the steering shaft joints. Next, watch the input (steering shaft attaches to it) and the output (pitman arm attaches to it) shafts. If there's a delay between input and output, that's a cause. Next, watch both ends of the drag link. Next, both ends of the tie rod. Last, both ends of the track bar. The play is happening for a reason and it will be visually evident.

Here is the info to center your steering wheel....very simple:

TJ Toe-in Alignment - 2
