soft top ? from a newb

I searched i really did I swear, but I didn't find anything probably because my question is so dumb and obvious. I just got my 03 rubi back in December it has the hard top on right now but came with the factory soft top. With the warmer weather starting to appear I'm getting a little giddy to switch tops. My question is. How do the soft tops work exactly, are they an either on or off thing or can you just put them down when you want to go topless? and how big of a process it that?

Your Question is not dumb, and we are not going to chew you out about searching like some other sites do. You do have a good question. I for one only have the hard top. I want to get a soft top some day, but I'm not sure when that will be. Hopefully soon as summer is only a few months away.

Anyway good luck. I had to put my .02cents in about this site being the friendliest site i have ever found.

Once it warms up a bit I'm going to take some pics of the soft top parts both on and off.
