soft top question

So i know that when buying a new soft top they list them as 97-06.
But i wanted to double check as i have a 99TJ and might be buying a soft top with hardware that came from a 06.
Anyone think there is going to be any probs setting it up this summer?
Normaly i would try and set it up before the hand shake but since we just got 7" of snow and counting there isnt that option.

Thanks

For some reason I want to say the front windshield latch is different on the 06 vs the 99. Or maybe I am thinking of the hard top. Sorry.

I believe that they changed the windshield latch slightly, but it should still work on your '99. I know that the hardtops are interchangeable (more or less, they added a locating pin to the 2003+, but the front latches are the same), so the softtops should be as well.

If you have to ask what it is or what it does, you don't need it, and you will need help to install it!

Sorry, I thought I answered this yesterday...

Anyway, I just put a 06 factory soft top w/hardware, quarter windows and rear window on a 2000. Fit's like a glove. No issues.
