Soft Top Zipper Repair

I was wondering if anyone knows of a good place to get a couple of the zippers repaired on my soft top. It is for a '02 Jeep Sport, I live in the Northwest part of Denver. Thanks.

I had to get mine repaired last summer, check to see if there are any canvas shops or sail clothe shops in the area. Most are able to do them for cheap.

You can get them on eBay. Just search "Jeep zipper puller"

Wait, are you talking about the pull tab or the actual zipper?

Zipper repair

Hello everyone,
Does anyone know how to repair a zipper that separated from the rear window on a 2009 JK soft top.

See if you can get the teeth aligned by unzipping from the right zipper until it meets the left.

When Mine did that on my LJ, I screwed around with it until the entire zipper separated, so it was completely separated except where the pull actually was, then I was able to pull the window out from the side of the zipper pull to get the two pieces completely apart. Pulling the window out deformed the zipper pull slightly so after I got the window out, I used a pair of piers to gently squeeze the zipper pull back to it's original shape, tighter front to back on the zipper pull and then re installed the window. Now I lube it all the time and it still works as designed.

I took my Jeep to a upholstery shop and got the zipper reattached. All was done was to unzip the window, apply some crazy glue, a little trim and reattach the zipper.
