Some help please

Hi! My jeep was kicking out of 5th gear and after a trip down to FL from NC now it wont go into 5th and wont stay in 5th what to do? Also i am currently in FL in the orlando area anyone around or know of anyone good around here to look at it and/or someone good to? if it is a transmission problem is it better to get a rebuild, replace, or a pick and pull it? Last question i have a set of over sized all terrain tires on is it worth for me to get set of regular set of tires for a few trips back and forth to NC or not?
