Sound Ordnance B-8PTD Powered 8" Subwoofer Installation

So I've been working on installing a Sound Ordnance B-8PTD Powered 8" Subwoofer underneath the rear seat of my 2005 LJ but I'm not quite sure where I should attach the ground cable to. There are a few bolts nearby but I don't have a multimeter (off at college) so I'm not sure where would be a good spot. If anyone else has installed this sub, or anything similar that needs a ground, under the rear seat of their jeep can you let me know what you grounded it to? Thanks!

You can ground to the tub, just make sure you remove the paint around your ground so that it touches bare metal.

So just drill a hole and put a screw in it?

Yeah, but be careful where you drill. There is a gas tank underneath. And, be sure to remove the paint around the hole.

I have the same sub under back seat. Check under carpet in the trunk area. I believe there was a screw there already. I only needed about 18 inches of wire.

I have one an really like it. I have a Kenwood SW10 in the Jeep and the 8PTD in my Mustang both with the sane head unit. The 8PTD sounds much better and has more bass..
