Unhappy Speed Pulse Sensor??????

Hello All
I am in need of some knowledge that I don't own. I was trying to find out about a speed pulse sensor. The reason being is that I have done my own research through manuals and internet and came up with nada. I have had a Pioneer AVIC-N1 in my 2006 Unlimited for some time now, but I have not been able to hook up my radio completely, because I can not find where my speed pulse detection wire goes from my radio onto my jeep. In the manual(from the radio) it says to locate the speed detection circuit (on vehicle) and connect this (speed pulse) wire (from radio) to it. Once connected the radio will be able to accurately read my speed pulses giving me the opportunity to have an accurate speed reading on my speedometer on the radio as well as giving me a feature of slope that would show me the inclining and declining of my jeep when going up or down hills. Just a feature that comes with the radio, but have never got to use because of my situation with not being able to connect the wire. If anyone can help me I would greatly appreciate it. I would believe that the wire would be coming from the PCM but I don't know whick wire that would be.

I don't know where you would need to wire it in (before the computer or after), but you can find the tone ring where the gear is on the older TJ's and trace it.

Climb underneath the jeep on the drivers side, an find the plug on the transmission:

Then, trace the wire. I believe it tracks forward and up thru the tub into the passenger compartment near the clutch.

Hope this helps.

Nice! 2 speedometers - when you get caught speeding they'll give you 2 tickets?
