Speed sensor help

My 2006 wrangler X has been having issues. sometimes it wont shift out of first gear. sometimes i will be driving and it will shift to a lower gear and rev really high, sometimes i will be going 20 mph and shift up and the engine bogs out. Sometimes it will shift and bang into gear, sometimes it sounds like it is grinding into gear. And about 20% of the time the check engine light turns off and it drives fine for a few days. My check engine light came on but the only code i am getting is a generic code P0700.

I have a feeling it is either it is the shift solenoid, or the speed sensor. I have looked and the speed sensor seems the cheapest. Does anyone have a website or know of one that shows how to replace it? I have looked on you-tube and searched Google and haven't found any tutorials.

can someone help please
