Question Split Second Screech

First thing in the morning, I turn the key and the rig fires right up but for a split second I hear a screech. I can't tell if it's the starter or maybe an idler pulley. Once the vehicle has been running for a while, I can shut the engine down and re-start but the short screech is gone.

Anyone heard of this? Thanks!!

I had this problem on my old cherokee, it only happened on cold starts and always faded away. Everything worked fine though. When I replaced the timing belt, I found that the upper free pulley bearings were shot. If you can test it, its worth a try. Hope this helps, good luck.
