whats you base truck? SE, X, Sport?

The Rubi springs are stiffer than most. Are the RS5000's adjustable? what setting are they on?

Rancho's R5000 shocks are well known to be EXTREMELY stiff, I would attribute your stiff ride to them, not the springs. And Never Monday, the R5000 is not adjustable... you are thinking of Rancho's R9000.

99 4.0 S 5spd
The 5k's are not ajustable.
I had heard the rubi springs were alot stiffer and that led me to believe that they might be the reason im being shaken and not stirred.
The back is bouncy as hell ... im guessing the reason the front isnt is because the motor is heavy and holding it down.

Ok
I'd look for shocks first. I put take off Rubi springs and shocks on my kids 97 4.0 and it rides great. I'd attribute the bouncy rear to the stiff shocks or tire pressure.

well see i plan on buying a lift during tax season and i wanted to find out if it was common to ride like this with most lifts.
If it was only the shocks then no biggy... if it was the springs then i need to do research on the lift package i want to get.

Too stiff of a shock absorber is the usual cause of a stiff riding suspension, and seldom the springs themselves. I really don't know of any springs made for a TJ that are so stiff that they are noted for being so.
