Spring question

Are the coil springs off an 04 tj and a 98 grand Cherokee interchangeable ?

I believe the fronts are but the rears are different And the V8 springs will give you a bit of a lift in the front

The reason I ask is my buddy wants a 2 inch budget boost on his grand Cherokee and I have a BB off my wrangler and was wondering if the spacers would work for him Do you have any idea ?

No I don't think they will because of the difference in size of the rear coils. The wrangler ones are much bigger around. The grands spring look very similar from front to rear but if you. Look at your springs they are very different from front to rear

I ran ZJ springs in front and 2" BB in the rear for about a year before lifting again. Worked fine and with the 1.25" body lift and proper bumpstops, it allowed me to run 33" tires. The ZJ springs gave me an additional 1" of lift over the 2" BB that was up front.
