spring question

Noticed large chunk of black rubber crushed at the at the top of one of the front springs. Other Side had no rubber at all on top of spring. Wondering if there should be a rubber spacer at the top of both? I'm not an expert (obviously) but I believe even from the factory the top of springs have a rubber piece. .need to know what I need to do or replace if anything. After measuring springs I think a 4 inch lift was installed. But I can't be sure of brand bc PO painted all suspension parts including shocks...

should be on top of each spring:
Crown Automotive 52000229 - Front Coil Spring Isolator

rear should have this isolator above the spring:
Crown Automotive 52087832 - Rear Coil Spring Isolator

Ok thanks. I'll have to check to see if those are in place when I get off work. I wish I had a picture of the chunk. I feel like it has to be something thicker than to front spring isolator you sent a link to. Maybe there used to be spacers to add lift and they dry rotted or something..really wish I knew what lift kit the PO had put on that would tell me if I'm missing maybe a 1 inch spacer or something.
