Stain on shoes after driving

Hey all. Im stumped. I noticed a stain on my shoes after driving the jeep for a while. Cleaned them and it keeps coming back?! Wtf could it be?!?!

2.5 i4 manual 5 speed

I don't usually wear shoes in the Jeep. Never had that problem. Sorry I couldn't help.

Looks like your rubbing your shoes on the back of the brake pedal.

I dont know. Maybe? I pay attention and am pretty sure i dont touch anything. Could it some sort of leak?

Not a common place for any kind of a oil leak.

I think it may be a completely different issue.

Maybe your clutch master cylinder is leaking? Look up under the dash where the clutch rod goes through the firewall.

Put your head by the pedals and look around for dirt/grease/rubbing marks.
