stalled and wont start

Yesterday as I pulled in my drive way which is at an incline my jeep died and I can't get it started there is a half a tank of gas and I can't figure it out it cranks over just fine just won't fire up I'm thinkin it might be a fuel pump I was just wondering if it might be somethin else only got 91000 its a 99 4.0

I might be reading it wrong but you stated it will crank over fine, which to me means it starts. Then you also say it "won't fire up" which to me means it won't start. I'm a little confused. Will it start on a flat surface, but not on an incline such as your driveway, is that what you are saying??

It might be like my ole 97, the fuel gauge is not always true, it runs out at a 1/4 tank randomly.

If you're on a slope, your tank may be mis-leading you....it may be empty.
Can you roll safely too a more level area. Or put some gas in....
