Stange Sound in Neutral Over 30mph

Hi my 98 wrangler makes this strange sound like gears rubbing slightly only when I am in neutral and only when I am over 30mph say coasting down a hill. Is this noise normal or is there something wrong with my jeep? It is not a grinding sound but more of a clicking sound.

1998 Black Jeep Wrangler
5 speed manual transmission
3 inch suspension lift 1 inch body lift
33 inch BFG-AT
89,000 miles

Why are you taking your tranny out of gear and coasting 30 MPH or more down a hill? Not good for them.

If it were in gear, it would be making much more noise and you wouldn't hear the sound you wonder about, at all.

If i am slowing down I may pop it in neutral. Do you downshift in your jeeps?

I think it is because when I had my body lift changed to 1 inch instead of 3 they took off my t-case drop. I still have a 3 inch suspension so it causes strain when over 30mph making that sound.

You have a lot more control downhill in gear because of the engine braking. Going downhill in neutral is never a good idea.
