star bolt size?

Newbie here, for my 16 year-old. He is replacing swaybar end links, can't afford full set of star bolts. Anyone know the correct size for this operation? '98 Sport.

Are you getting regular bolts for it?

If you already have the existing Torx bolts removed, bring one with to hardware store and replace using Grade 8 SAE bolt. Just match up sizing of bolt or even bring in part if you have it.

If your trying to remove I want to think it's either T-55 or T-50...
You might want to pickup a set of torx bits ranging from T-45 to T-55 since they are the most common used on the Jeep and by Chrylser...

Now it seems the torx (T-50) are reemed out and he can't get the lower nuts to turn. Could it be a T-55?

Get some PB Plaster from the Autostore and spray them and let soak for a little then retry.

If remmed out, becareful not too make worse, try fitting the T-55 in there to see if it fits before wrneching more on it.
