Starting Issue

I have an 04 Sport and have noticed a developing trend that I don't like.

In the mornings I am usually blocking my girlfriends car in the driveway so we have to do the shuffle. I start it up and everything is fine, back it out, pull back in the driveway and turn the ignition off.

I go about my routine and then return to the jeep to go to work. When I go to start it up this time, it will just crank and crank and crank and eventually it will start after cranking a dozen times.

I've never had a car do this before, anyone else having this issue or know what it is?

Next time just bump the key for like 2 second and let off and wait a few seconds and then try to start .More than likely it will then fire right up.Mine does this also and I have been told the fuel pumps are week on most of them but I don't think it is the pump but a flaw in the fuel recovery system and it lets the line bleed off pressure and it takes a few seconds for the pump to pressurize the lines again.
I like for it to shine even thought it is muddy most of the time!
