Steering box

Well i came home from work today and noticed a puddle of steering fluid right below the steering box. Its leaking right out of the shaft where the pitman arm is bolted too. Is there a seal that I can replace or do I need a whole new box? If I need a new box is it worth buying a performance aftermarket one or will a stock one hold up fine pushing 35" tires?

Mine was leaking pretty well too in the same place- I didn't have the cash for a new box so I took a chance and threw some power-steering stop-leak in there and it actually worked... maybe worth a shot.

Anyone else? I guess the stop leak is worth a try, but this leak seems to be pretty bad...

Just read that Durango-write up somewhere... I believe it bolts right in, search and you shall find.

98-99 durango or dakota. bolts rite in using existing mounting locations. its physically bigger and stronger than the jeep one but about the same price. the swap is as simple as unbolting and replacing the box.
