I just purchased a '99 TJ Sahara
. Unfortunately, it has a 3" Body Lift and no suspension lift
. I intend to reduce the lift to 1-1/4" asap. I had new ball joints and hubs installed and the entire suspension gone through. But.... I am getting a feeling in the steering wheel when going over bumps at low speed or when coming to a stop. It almost feels like a slip yoke bottoming out. You can only feel it in the steering wheel. Can't feel or hear it in the seat. I wonder if anyone has had this problem and what they did about it. Or, will it go away when I reduce the lift. I searched and searched the forum and couldn't find anyone with this issue. Thanks for your help.
