Exclamation Steering Problems HELP!!

When I am driving over 40 mph or when I hit bumpy patches or sharp turns my Jeep kind of gets a mind of it's own and steers itself wherever and I have to constantly correct it. The brakes, roters, and everything tire wise is fine I checked all of that. Sometimes it actually get's pretty violent and jerks me every which way. What should I look at next, is this a common problem? HELP!!

Sounds to me like a steering stabilizer

Look up bump steer, I'd bet that is the issue you are having. I understand one of the biggest causes is a dropped pitman arm depending on your set up. Search the TJ forum for bump steer and you should be able to find some info. Or check out this article.

Yup sounds like bump steer. Post your setup, parts, alignment info, Tire pressure, take pic of front end and post on here.
