Steering question

I've had my jeep for just over a month. One thing I've noticed that has me concerned is the way it handles on turns. The front end seems tight on straight roads but turning it takes more than I feel is normal to get jeep to turn. There are times when it seems like its floating. I had to get it inspected and expected to find out it needed ball joints or something but nothing was mentioned. Ideas?

I'm leaning toward steering stabilizer but don't want to just swap parts.

Jeep has a 4" Pro Comp lift and 35" BFG MT KM. I'm guessing the shocks and stabilizer that came with the lift (whenever it was installed??) are junk.

Did they also check the u-joints? How old/full is the power steering fluid, any leaks etc. 35's are big tires and are taxing on the stock unit.

The fluid was very low when I bought the jeep. Filled it up and it definitely improved. Going to 33"s soon.

Anybody interested in (4) BFG MT KM's with about 1000 miles on them?
