Steering question

I have a 97 Tj 4" lift with 32x10.50s and the steering seems to be very loose and sensitive. On the highway this becomes a problem because my jeep moves all over the place when i barely move the wheel. I was thinking a new steering stablizer would fix this. Could someone confirm or correct this? thanks

I do not think a steering stabilizer would cure that issue. Check your alignment and all front end suspension components. And your unit bearings and wheel lug nuts too.

Check your air pressure too.... Maybe too high.

Alignent & loose/worn components in the front end. Have fun. Be sure to post up when you get it figured out.

Ditto...I just got a 4" Skyjacker short arm kit and I'm all over the highway...not from the lift, just feels like my power steering is on steroids now. Im going to rename my TJ "Blue Ferrigno"...I know...

Check your toe-in angle and your tire pressure. Exactly what tire pressure are you running in your 32" tires? What tires do you have? I don't think I've ever seen a 32x10.50 on a Jeep but I've seen plenty of 32x11.50 tires.
