That's really odd Rich, I was able to buy a new tie rod by itself directly from Currie without hassle which included new clamps. I carry a spare Currie tie rod now and just straighten my tie rods as needed. Next time ask for John C. if you have any problems with the sales droid.
Having run a Currie steering kit for years, that's what I would go for BFYTW. That a few of us bend ours is only an indication of the really extreme trails we sometimes find ourselves on. Most Currie steering components never bend... there are just some idiots (talking about me and RRich
) out there doing stupid things on the rocks once in a while.
