Stock exhaust tail pipe question

I currently have a 4" exhaust tip on my jeep with a flow master muffler. It sounds awesome but I want to go back to stock tail pipe for more clearance on the trails. My question is, will I lose any sound or will my current sound change by going back to stock tail pipe?
Thanks

Is the tip part of an aftermarket cat-back, or added on by you???

Makes a difference in terms of trying it without...

I'm betting that the tip has no noticeable effect on the sound your Flowmaster is producing.

The oversized tips are generally for looks only (or for crushing, as you may already have found out...).

Good luck!

There is where I cut mine. Works fine (no exhaust smell in tub) and sounds fine (no extra drone).

I like the way bone stock looked. The guy at a muffler shop just told me he could make it look just like stock, with the turn-down and everything, seeing as its just normal pipe..
Think he can replicate it? I'm really picky. Blame it on my OCD lol

Not me...I did not like the limp wrist turn down look.
