Strange Clicking sound Coming from rear

Help please!
I'm hearing a tick-tick-tick sound coming from the rear. Its frequency increases with RPMs and i can hear it when rolling n Neutral.
It seems to be coming from the driver side, but i'm not sure about that

Just some info to help the experts here
Axle is Dana 44, Stock 3.73 Gearing, No Lockers
Brakes are Stock drum brakes
Stock Canyon wheels
31x10.5 Tires, inflated at 30 psi
Stock Driveshaft (i think so)
2'' Lift Kit (Pro Comp Coil Springs & OME Shocks)

Any ideas? Thank you for your help

Another Detail: It rained this morning and i'm 50% sure the sound wasn't here before the rain. (But maybe it doesn't have anything to do with the rain)

How do i check the rear shaft u-joints?

Start checking the easiest and cheapest things first. I'd start by checking out the U-Joints on the DS . . . if those are good then I'd probably pull the diff cover and check out the rear diff.

Check your tires and be sure there is not a rock stuck in the tread.

Simple things first...

ha, I had a simillar problem a while back, a good click comming from the rear axle (not suspension) I figured it might be brakes but I was ready to re-gear anyway. so I found a good set of used axle with the gears I wanted CHEAP. problem solved, never did find out what that click was though
