sulfur smell

i have a 2002 tj with 170,000 on it over the last couple days i have been smelling a sulfur scent commng at idle and low in town speeds. cat has been removed for some time now. any ideas

Could that sulphur odor actually be a gasoline odor? If so, an 02 sensor may have gone bad & is causing your engine to run too rich.
