OEM only. The cheap "lifetime warranty" pumps sold by the chain auto parts stores like Autozone aren't worth the effort to install. Their lifetime warranty is definitely not any indication of quality.

Thanks for the insight I was torn between OEM or a high volume performance pump, the lesser expensive ones are very tempting though.

Oem will be fine. O Reilly does sell pretty good replacements.

OEM. A life-time warranty on a Chinese pump will only cover the cost of the pump itself and not the incidental damage a failure may cause. If you have both in your hands you will see the differences. I hate stealerships as much as anyone else, but there are some parts that OEM is worth it on.
