Suspension question

Will the stock suspension from a rubicon TJ fit on a standard TJ, and will a lift kit for a TJ work on either one? just curious about interchangability(on a side note i don't think that is spelled correctly).

Thank yoh in advance.

Yes and Yes.

The ONLY difference between the TJ and "rubicon" model's suspension is the Coil rate of the spring and bilistien shocks from the factory. And that is it. The spring essentially is stiffer. Nothing more. A 'rubi" factory suspension will give you NO lift.

As for a difference in aftermarket lifts....a TJ is a TJ....reguardless of model.

To add a little to that - when I converted my '03 Rubi to long arms, I tossed my coils in the scrap pile. Then I did a few more LA conversions on non-Rubi's, and tossed those in the same scrap pile.

Later I went to look for my stock Rubi springs, all the springs in the pile had the same GM tag number. There was no way to tell mine from the others.
So I can surmise not all the Rubi's had different springs.
