sway bar discos

im looking at making some sway bar discos, but not sure how I want to do it, anybody got pics of how they did it?

so a 7/16 isn't quite tighten there, is that why his pin wore out so fast? I have access to a lathe, would it be more beneficial to turn pins out of say 4130 or 8630 or something stronger like that?

If you can fabricate the right size pins and out of stonger material, then yes that would a be the way to go.

I personally spot welded a big washer to the head of the pin, so mine will have to wear through the washer before it wears on the head of the pin.

did your pin have slack in it? if so how much?

It has enough slack that you can grab the link and push/pull and can visually see/feel there their is some slack. But even with the slight slack, the swaybar links still function as designed to stabilize when connected.

I just pulled one of mine to show how it looks after one year. A little wear, but not too bad....should last a few more years.
