sway bar question on lift

please forgive my ignorance on lifts and parts associated with lifts. This is my first lift on a Jeep and I have a question. When i drive I hear a whinning sound comming from the front end. when I look I can see my sway bar bolt (I think this is the term) on the passenger side rubbing against the frame rail. on the driver side the sway bar bolt clears the frame rail by a good inch or so but on the passenger side it has no clearance. I hammered the driver side and got the passenger side to clear the frame but it always goes back into posistion afetr driving. The sway bar connects to a long bar that is concealed under that plastic "Jeep" cover on the bumper, right? whats the fix for the sway bar rubbing? Thanks.

It may be that your Track Bar needs adjusting. Stand in front of the Jeep and look at fender and tire on each side. One tire will probably appear to be sticking out further than the other. I think its the passenger side.

You need an adjustabe track bar to re-center your axle.. or if you have one.. it needs adjusted.

You can get collars a lot cheaper than the 4WD places want for them by going to a good hardware store or WW Grainger. They're called 2 piece collar clamps and are 1.188" I.D. (inside diameter) Grainger part number is 2APC. Grainger's cost 1/2 as much and if you don't have a Graingers close by, you can order online.
