Switch under the passenger dash

There this switch under the passenger side dash. It looks like some kind of auxilary port like for a phone, but it doesnt work, already tried that. I notice when I flip the switch, the radio gets fuzzy and whe I turn it back the radio gets stronger. It almost looks like the switch for disabling the lights when the doors are off, but like I said, pretty sure it has to do with the radio (plus the PO had an auxilary wire ran out of the radio and through the glove box...
Would I be able to rewire it and use it as a light shutoff for when the doors are off? Any input on what it is, or if I could rewire would be appreciated!

Maybe a radio output for a sub woofer? Once disconnected you could use the switch for a door disable switch as long as it's rated for 10 amps or more.

Check out post #6 and #23 here, it tells you how to wire it. http://www.wranglerforum.com/f210/my-half-doors-update-572353.html
Thanks for the link on how to do that! Thanks for the other inputs as well, it does kinda look like the quadratec link, but doesn't work if thats what it is. I have most of today free so I'll start digging into it and see what I can find out. Thanks again guys!

looks like a subwoofer to me as well, if you have a high-end radio it would also explain why the radio sounds different when you hit the switch (the radio has more channels). The only weird thing is that a subwoofer connected just via such a port would need external power also and then that would be an inconvenient place to have the audio output.
