Cool T-Case Fluid change And inspection

Soon Im getting ready to change my fluid and inspection my t-case. Was wondering if anyone has a good description on removing the rear driveshaft so im able to remove the housing of the t-case? pics would help too so I can visualize. My jeep is a 98 TJ no lift. Also any suggestions would help to aid in this project. Thanks to all

Once the rear of the driveshaft is unbolted from the rear axle's yoke, the front of the rear driveshaft just pulls/slides off the t-case's output shaft.

Pulling the rear half of the t-case off is a little more involved. There are some great instructions at Tom Wood's Custom Drive Shafts - Tom Woods Custom Drive Shafts Custom Driveshafts Specialist on the Tech Info page. Once on the Tech Info page, click on the 'Late Model 231/242 Conversion' by JR Farrarr which gives instructions for opening up the t-case.
