Cool T-Case Fluid change And inspection

Soon Im getting ready to change my fluid and inspection my t-case. Was wondering if anyone has a good description on removing the rear driveshaft so im able to remove the housing of the t-case? pics would help too so I can visualize. My jeep is a 98 TJ no lift. Once the rear of the driveshaft is unbolted from the rear axle's yoke, the front of the rear driveshaft just pulls/slides off the t-case's output shaft.

Pulling the rear half of the t-case off is a little more involved. There are some great instructions at Tom Wood's Custom Drive Shafts - Tom Woods Custom Drive Shafts Custom Driveshafts Specialist on the Tech Info page. Once on the Tech Info page, click on the 'Late Model 231/242 Conversion' by JR Farrarr which gives instructions for opening up the t-case.

When you have a choice, buy American.
