T-case skid plate

Ok I have a 4.0 tj and I want to remove the T-case skid plate. My question is this. I was informed that the Skid plate is also part of the mount for the t-case. If so is there a trick to pulling this down or can i can unbolt the skid plate to get to the transfer case? thanks guys...

yes the t-case is bolted to the plate. use jack stands to support the tranny and t-case as you remove the plate.

Yup, you got 10 bolts to take out for everything. Like Jeepn said just put a jack stand or floor jack and block of wood either under the tranny pan or the tail housing of the tcase to hold it all up.
