The most useless DTC code

Finally got an error code relating to my slightly higher than normal (850-1000rpm) idle. Error code P1294 - "target idle not reached" haha thanks for the obvious Mr. ODBII

Now the real question is, can driving with this idle cause any engine problems (running lean from excess idle, etc). I won't be able to take a good look at this until I make a 100mi trip on Saturday. I'm pretty sure this is a physical vacuum leak somewhere on my TB, intake or a vacuum hose. I cleaned my IAC and its housing earlier this week with no help at all, also reset the ECU by pulling the battery
