tire size?

i want to put larger tires/rims on my 1999 jeep wrangler sahara edition but i dont want to lift it. what size tires/rims do you think id be able to fit on the stock body? thanks

Max size tire are 31s

Before I lifted my jeep, I had 32x11.50s on 15x8 rims. This was ok for daily driving but, would rub the fender flares when flexed. I think with the proper backspacing these tires would have cleared. I wasn't concerned at the time because I new I was lifting the jeep.

Also keep in mind when looking at tires the overall diamter of some will be greater or less than what it claims on the side wall. Those 32s above were actually mire like 31.5.

My jeep is not lifted either, and I have 31" tires..........don't think I would go larger than that if you plan on doing anything other than pavement driving.
