Tires and rims

I am a new Jeep owner my first . It has factory rims on it. And want to buy new rims what size should I get ? 15x8 or 17x8 ? Do not want to lift it and I will not go off road much just want a better look than factory rims and tires . What size tires should I get with the new rims ? Thanks

I'd stick with 15x8 unless you are lifting and going to 33's or larger

Would a 31x10.5 tire work on the 15x8 rim and not rub anything in a turn ?

31s will rub at full turn. The only way to fix this is aftermarket rims, or adding washers to your steering stop(there's a lot of write ups on it). It's not a big deal.

I have 31x10.50r15 on my jeep's stock rims, they fill the wheel wells a little too much at stock hight for my tastes. They'll be perfect with a 2" BB.

Or stated another way you can prevent rub if you choose the right backspace on the 15x8 rims you plan to buy

Going to buy Black Rock rims , are they good rims ? Looking at the 900 Viper in tungsten color , I think they will look good on my Black Jeep.

Yes they are fine, you will not have rubbing issues at full turn with those and 31's
