Recently purchased a 2004 Rubicon with a body lift. The pucks are 2-1/2" long. I understand you don't want anything more than a 1.25" lift. The pucks are sitting on a rubber bushing and there is a rubber bushing the same size below that. Are body lifts/pucks installed using the stock bushings? My goal is a 4" suspension lift. I would like to get the jeep back to stock height before the suspension lift was installed. In need of professional advice.http://www.wranglerforum.com/images/smilies/atomic.gif
Yes, a body lift sits on top of the two body bushings. So what you see is normal, but you are right in that you do not want a body lift greater than 1.25". A 4" suspension and 1" body is a pretty popular configuration.
Yes, the are generally stacked on the original rubber mount.
