It may or may not give you that but you wouldn't notice it anyway..

I cannot understand why so many people are looking to make their TJ's a rocket ship. It was designed to get you there from anywhere no matter what's in your way. If I wanted speed and power I would have bought a BMW.

Agree 100%. If you want to fly I have a 951 Turbo Porsche that will give you 30 mpg and scare the hell out of you with power. Tried all types of chips in the 951 and went back to stock, better balance.
I have found out that the best bang for the buck to get better MPG and a couple of HP is the K&N and a throttle body spacer.
This is my "rocket ship" and all the HP in the world is wasted if you can not make it handle and stop.

To bad the TJ can not tow it!!

Complete waste of $$$. They only do anything at wide-open throttle and extremely high rpms and then they don't do all that much. You won't notice anything at all while offroading or on the road.

I bought one of those things shortly after I got my Jeep in November. Didn't really notice a difference in power. Also my downstream O2 sensors didn't like it and kept tripping my check engine light. Finally took it off, makes a very expensive paperweight now!

I just bought an 07 Rubicon, love it but would like a bit more low end torque. I am looking at chips, CAI and plain old Kand N air filtre.
Anyone use any of these and do they make much difference?
Many thanks.

I laugh anytime I see the words JET and Chip. a buddy of mine bought one for his LT1 Vette. 8 yrs later we took it apart....with the help of an electrical engineer friend who makes his own ECU's out of old OBDI ecus. anywho. we found that the chip literally did nothing. the traces that actually went through different resistors and stuff were cut, so they did nothing at all. there was a resistor on the IAT sensor lead, and that was it....I think he paid 200.00 or so for it.

Don't waste your money...or if you want to throw it away PM me, I'll take it.

You can always contact the folks at marine turbine.... if they can put a turbine in a mini cooper, a jeep should be child's play
