TJ Lift Help/Question

I'm looking at doing a 2.5" or 3" lift for my 06 TJ. I'm only going with 33 x 10.5 x 15 tire size. There so many options/manufacturers for lift kits. I may light trail my TJ, but rock crawling or tough trails aren't in the picture. My TJ is a daily driver. Here is what I'm looking at. Any experience would be greatful.

OME - Sounds like the ride is better than stock on and off road. Price is kind of high!

Daystar - Price is good, but don't know anything about their lift kits.

Skyjacker - Friend said their stuff is OK

Teraflex - Everything looked good, seen good comments about their products.

Anybody else?

The OME sounded like the best of the bunch, but again, fairly pricey.
I'm having someone do the install. I don't have the time, tools or space. I'm not sure what the install is going to cost until I pick what I'm going to get.

I have a 2.5" lift from Rough Country that was really well priced and i was able to fit 33's easily. I have heard many different opinions about Rough Country but i have been nothing but satisfied so far. One pointer though regardless of what company you decide to go with, invest in spring compressors. They run about $40 and they make things so so so much easier!

Spring compressors won't be needed. I'm having my mechanic do it. The kits I'm looking at spacers and new shocks. The OME's sound like the ones I would like to have. I haven't seen anything bad said about thier kits. I guess my second choice is Teraflex and then Daystar. I'll check into the RC kits.

Was the RC kit spacers and shocks? I thought I saw someone on here did RC spacers with OME shocks.

Do you think I can do just the OME 2.5 and run 33's ( no body lift)

I run a 3 inch Teraflex kit with 33 X 10.5 X 15 KM2's and love the set up. Mine is cabin jeep that hardly ever sees "real roads" and she handles great. I do get the very light rubbing when in reverse at full wheel turn to the left. A couple of washers next time I'm at the cabin will fix that.

Yea i found that cragar wheels are set further back in the tire which eliminates rub because im running on 33x12.50x15 BFGoodrich AT's and I have no problem with rubbing

You can easily do it but that extra 1.25" gives you a bit more room to flex off road.

I have a ton of pics I could show you but I cat load them up right now.
