TJ seat heaters

Hey I was wondering if anybody had any experience with aftermarket seat heaters for TJ's. In particular I was looking at Check Corporation Seat Heaters
For 99-10 Jeep® Wrangler TJ, JK & Unlimited. Wanted to know if they are worth buying for $220. any input would be appreciated. Thanks!

No personal experience, but for that money you could buy a remote starter and heat the whole vehicle before you get in

I have 2000 sahara 5-Speed and didn't think it was possible to get a remote start for it. If it is, I'm all for it depending on the cost.

A lot of places won't install a remote-start on a manual tranny-equipped vehicle. Think about the liability to them and to you as well. But some places have no scruples and will do it with no problem. They're the same places that will enable your in-dash tv monitor to work while your vehicle is in gear and moving down the road.

You can build a seat heater "kit" for much less. but if you want super easy, then that will work.

I've installed seat heaters on other cars. On one of them I just bought some N.O.S. elements on ebay. They were from a ford or mazda something, I just wired in my own switch. it was pretty simple. and cost under 100 bucks for both seats.

That's my brother Corky. He's special, but we love him. Be careful, he'll make love to you with his eyes.

Not really. But that avatar makes me laugh.
