TJ turning strange

When I turn my 97 TJ to the left, the wheel shakes back and forth a little bit. Kind of feels like it's in 4x4. I checked it and it's not it 4x4. Any suggestions? Thanks

Those are some big tires for a 2" lift, are you sure they are not rubbing your sway bar end links or your control arms when turning full lock? What is the back spacing on your wheels?

After looking again, your tag line says 07 Rubi...didn't see that it was a different Jeep....but if you have big tires on the 97, check for rubbing.

My TJ is stock height with 31's and they're not rubbing. It did it a couple times last week, but now it's doing it all the time over the past couple days. It drives straight just fine tho. Could it be a bad u joint or wheel bearing? Is the axle not disengaging? Is the front axle electronically actuated?

I jacked it up and found the drivers side u joint has some play in it. Could this be the problem?

I think I am having the same problem but I think it's in the steering pump myself. The U joint should not make this happen but you better replace the U joint s if they have play cause you break something. Been there

Classic symptom of a bad front axle u-joint.

I do have a pretty nasty leak in one of my ps lines too. It was low this am but didn't change when I topped it off. I'll tackle all that this weekend. But since it started acting up about 30 mi ago, it has already started wearing on my tires.
