Is anyone ruining a 2 inch suspension 1.25 inch body lift combo? I've already got the suspension installed and am about to buy a jks body lift.my final goal is to do a tummy tuck and run 33's as it is my dd and doesn't see much trail some maybe a run a month.any advice on install or parts needed? Pictures? Forgot to mention I'll be installing a motor mount lift while doing the body lift.still in the air on tire size though, wondering if 31 we'll look good with the set up I wouldn't mind having extra flexing room. Thanks for any advice guys

That's similar to what I'm looking at. I'm about to order a 1" BL and MML and later this year look at adding a 2.5" suspension lift and eventually 33's. I'm interested in what people have to say about this set up

BL install is easy, trickiest part is rubber snubbers in front under grill, remove headlights and lube em up to install them, remove gas filler bezel b4 install and expect to extend gas fill hose after, be carefull loosening rubber hose from plastic neck since old ones can get brittle, go with new mm like brown dogs ultra flex, don't get poly mounts or spacer lift, and don't forget to loosen tranny bolts b4 mm install! And I'd definitely go with 33's or at least 32's.

2" spring + 1.25" body lift is how mine fit. Be sure to extend your bump stops. Otherwise, the tires will dig into the front fenders and you risk blowing the rear shocks.

Some will argue that you need 4" of total lift, spring + body, for 33's. 3.25" seems to be the bare minimum to maintain stock suspension travel.

On the front, compressed shocks would be the limiting factor. That would have left you with about 2" of up travel before full bump and about 6-7 of droop, correct? That sounds like a rough ride and the suspension travel unbalanced and out of proportion.

2" BDS suspension lift + 1.25" JKS body lift on 33x10.5 tires

I'm thinking the set up with 32's might leave me the right amount of travel at full flex and not have to worry about back spacing or fender modification. I'm contemplating leaving the 31's on if it doesn't look too goofy just because it should be impossible to rub with the swaybars disconnected at full flex.anyone have the set up with 31's?

You can run 31's without a lift. I have a 2" budget bust with and a JKS 1.25" BL, JKS MLL. I run 32's. In my opinion 33's would rub to much a full flex and be an issue in front if I was turning while flexed. after the body lift and MML I ended up using the drop bracket for the t-case shifter that comes with the JKS BL kit. It bolted on and works fine. My jeep has a 5 speed so an auto trans mught be different. I aslo ended up adding a Jeep 1" Steering Riser Bracket from Mountain Off-Road (M.O.R.E.). This is a steering riser bracket as you raise the tub the steering shaft coming out of the fire wall gets raised. You can probably make a riser very easily but the cost versus my time I just bought one. The steering riser isn't probably a must have. I opted for the BB and BL as mine is a daily driver and wan't ready to spend the money for a taller lift and what all that entails. Adding a 4" lift and then spacing the tcase down didn't make sense to me as the tcase skid is what you are most likely going to get hung up on. My lift has worked well for almost 5 years of using the jeep as a daily driver and offroading on trails and rocks.

There's some good looking setups on here. I guess I'll see what the old girl looks like when it's all said and done, maybe disconnect and flex her for all she's worth then decide on tire size.from the pictures I've been able to find I'm thinking 32's may be next for my setup to maintain full suspension travel with no annoying rubbing. thanks guys

What's best the best body lift to go with? I see a lot of people run JKS. I figured the JKS BL/MML would be good but now I see that their MML options are either put a spacer under the stock mounts or poly bushings, given those two options I would think that the spacer would be better correct? At least then their would be a rubber bushing in there.

Here's one of my TJ's with 2.5" springs and shocks only. Everything other then the wheels, 33" tires, bumper mounted turn signals and MCE flat fenders is stock.
