Who could pass up on such a title????
Does it work if you leave it in 4HI?
Have you unhooked the linkage and manually put it into 2HI to make sure the gearing shift is complete?
Are you sure the sound is coming from the transfer case and not an axle that perhaps has bearings that you are trying to smash between the teeth?
Does it roll in N or with the clutch pushed in while the jeep is off? If so, does that create the same horrific noise or smooth as silk and quiet as a church mouse?
