transfer case

Sorry im asking so many qusetions im new to the jeep world but ver happy here. After putting my lift on i droped my transfer case 1in maybe 1in and a 1/4 now when im going in to first grear im hearing a clunk and also when im out off roading any body no what this problem is.

I have the same problem if you look at the other TJ threads you'll find one under "Strange Knocking Sound". This should help you out a bit. I don't think its anything to worry about though.

Does the noise sound like it's coming from your transmission or from somewhere else in your driveline. First thing I would make sure of is the tranny mount. It will cause driveline movement if it's worn out.

i kknow is not the transmison becasue if i push down of the 4wd lever realy hard it does not seem as bad.
