Transfer Case Drop

A friend and I installed a 4in Zone suspension lift on my 2003 rubi this weekend. Install went great and im very happy with the outcome. My question is, is a transfer case drop always required? We didn't install it because the drive line wasn't at much of a angle. No vibes up to 70 MPH and thats as fast as Ive gone. Any input?

Usually people do the TC drop to eliminate vibes. If you're running smooth, I wouldn't worry about it.

Usually angles and vibes seem to fall under the every Jeep is different catagory and if you are able to get the angles close enough where you don't have any vibes you might be okay, but 4" seems like a lot on a TJ without anything else . . . LJ I could see it, but on a TJ it seems like a lot.

I wouldnt think on a Rubicon you would have to. It should already have a SYE to make up for any extra driveline drop. Are you wanting to keep it off so you wont loose an inch of clearence?

Its most like I ran out of time so I was gonna do the t-case drop later this week but when I took it on a test drive it felt great. But I also dont want to install it if its not needed in every case since I will loose a inch of clearence

Drop is only required if needed - i.e. vibes. You're fortunate, I got vibes with only 2" of lift - during the early stage of my build.
