Transfer case linkage

I have 06 wrangler with lift kit that has caused shifting problems with my transfer case. 4 low is almost impossible. The big question is I received a Advance Adapters linkage bracket for Christmas and now I am hearing of a cable conversion kit. Will this bracket help me or should I move up to a cable job? Thanks for any suggestions
